Značka maestrokatastrof vznikla v roce 2009 spojením keramiky, porcelánu a ilustrace. Vychází z fascinace starým a antickým porcelánem a keramikou a předměty každodenní potřeby, které už samy nesou dekor a historii. Z lásky k příběhům, komiksu, mateřskému jazyku a výtvarné zkratce.
Silvie nikdy neusilovala o výrobu dalších nových objektů. Na světě je už dost krásných věcí a právě práce s existujícími kusy je výzvou. Pracuje s nalezeným, bazarovým a starým porcelánem, na který vrství vlastní ilustraci nebo koláž.

maestrokatastrof brand was created in 2009 by the fusion of ceramics, porcelain, and illustration.
It arose out of a fascination with old and antique delicate porcelain and ceramics, daily necessities, which often already carry the decor. For the love of history, for the love of comics and stories, for the love of the native language and artistic shorthand.
Silvie never wanted to produce more, new pieces. There are plenty of beautiful things in the world, and as it turns out, working with existing ones is a challenge. That is why she works with found, bazaar, and old porcelain, to which she adds another layer of original illustration or collage.

Under the maestro brand, custom pieces are created for weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, funerals, or just for fun. Solitaires and a whole series of personalized tableware.
