Silvie Luběnová (Kroměříž, 1977) je ilustrátorka, keramička, restaurátorka papíru a mistr kincugi.

Propojením všech těchto oborů vznikají již řadu let pod značkou maestrokatastrof jedinečná porcelánová díla. Práce dále vedla ke vzniku značky Live Longer, kde spolu s kolegyní, šperkařkou Adélou Fejtkovou, dává nový život rozbitým a poškozeným předmětům.

Silvie je absolventkou UMPRUM v Praze v oboru keramika a ilustrace. Absolvovala také studium restaurování papíru na pražské Hellichově škole a v Japonsku se vyučila technice kintsugi. Pracovala pro Konsepti, Designblok, CGD, Křehký, Jakost a Cihelna Concept Store, a působila také v restaurátorském oddělení Národního archivu v Praze.

V současnosti pracuje pro Aerofilms a MOUVO v Praze a ve svém ateliéru, kde učí kintsugi, opravuje porcelán a kreslí na něj.

Silvie Luběnová (Kroměříž, 1977) is an illustrator, ceramic artist, paper conservator, and kintsugi master.

By combining all of these disciplines, she has been creating unique porcelain works for many years under the brand maestrokatastrof. This practice also led to the creation of another brand, Live Longer, where, together with her colleague and jewellery designer Adéla Fejtková, she gives new life to broken and damaged objects.

Silvie is a graduate of the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague (UMPRUM), where she studied ceramics and illustration. She also completed studies in paper conservation at the Hellichova School in Prague, and trained in kintsugi in Japan. She has worked for Konsepti, Designblok, CGD, Křehký, Jakost, and Cihelna Concept Store, and spent time in the conservation department of the National Archives in Prague.

She currently works for Aerofilms and MOUVO in Prague, as well as in her own studio, where she teaches kintsugi, restores porcelain, and paints on it.
